Yes, both are coated. However, you can also have the manifolds in polished and the silencers in black, or vice versa.

You can easily reorder the service card here: [To the Service Card]. Once payment is received, we will immediately send the service card to you.

To legally use your MILLER exhaust system with a different air filter, you must have the exhaust system and the new air filter registered in your vehicle documents. Our exhaust systems are always tested with the original air filter.

No, that is not possible. We only deliver with legal dB absorbers fitted.

After the silencer has been used for a certain period of time, the insulating wool can settle. We are talking about a service life of approx. 50,000 km

Yes, the MILLER Exhaust exhaust systems comply with all regulations in the EC countries and Switzerland, so that you can enjoy the MILLER sound without worries (+5 dB(A) from the stationary noise level noted in the vehicle licence; see U.1)

Yes, our coating is heat-resistant up to 1200°C. Please note that the coating must first "burn in" at around 300°C after the exhaust system is first installed. After that, the coating is fully cured and durable for decades.

The products are manufactured and produced in Germany - exclusively from stainless steel and aluminium - to ensure consistent and exceptional quality.

The road restriction in the Lech Valley applies to motorcycles with a stationary noise level above 95 dB(A). You can find your stationary noise level in your vehicle registration under point U.1.

  • If your value is above 95 dB(A), you may not ride these routes.
  • If your value is exactly 95 dB(A) or below, you are allowed to ride them. The key value is the one listed in your registration documents. If you have an approved, EC-certified MILLER exhaust system that is in proper condition, you are allowed to ride on these roads as long as your stationary noise level does not exceed 95 dB(A). An EC-certified aftermarket exhaust system does not change your registered noise value. If your vehicle registration shows a stationary noise level of 95 dB(A) or less, you may use a compliant exhaust system and continue to ride these routes. If your value is above 95 dB(A), you may not use these routes from April 15 to October 31. Unfortunately, we cannot offer an exhaust system that reduces the stationary noise to below 95 dB(A).

Verification is performed in accordance with TÜV International Certification procedures for auditing, certification and verification and is regularly monitored.

1. Your exhaust system “feels” too loud
We offer extra-quiet dB absorbers for our MILLER exhaust systems. You can order them here: https://miller-custombike.de/zubehoer/db-absorber/187/db-absorber-quiet?c=692

2. Your exhaust system is officially too loud according to a test report
A. Were the legal tolerances and measurement guidelines followed? You have a legal tolerance of +5 dB(A) on the registered stationary noise level. Please make sure the following conditions were met during the measurement:

  • Microphone distance: 50 cm at a 45° angle
  • Engine at exactly half nominal RPM
  • Engine fully warmed up
  • No sound-reflecting objects within a 3m² radius
  • Level, paved surface
If these conditions weren't met, the measurement result may be inaccurate. If in doubt, have the measurement verified by a second inspection station.

B. If all conditions were met and the measurement seems accurate, please proceed as follows:

If you purchased from MILLER Exhaust directly, email the following to info@miller-exhaust.com:

  • Copy of the purchase receipt/order
  • Copy of the test report
  • Copy of the vehicle registration
  • One or two photos of the absorber(s) removed (max. 10MB total)

Once we receive the information, we will review the issue and get back to you promptly.

If you purchased from one of our dealers, please contact the dealer directly and provide them with the same documents listed above. Unfortunately, we cannot process your request directly in this case.

Our exhaust systems are double-walled to prevent discoloration from heat. However, discoloration can occur at the joint and cone of the muffler. These can be removed easily with MILLER polishing paste and a microfiber cloth.

We use the color RAL 9004 Signal Black Matte.
